FAQ

SAP CPI course questions

What is the difference between SAP CPI and SAP Integration Suite?

CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) is the earlier name for the Cloud Integration capability, which is now one part of SAP Integration Suite. This course teaches Cloud Integration in depth.

Do I need an SAP system to get started?

No. In chapter 1, I walk you through creating your own free SAP BTP trial account, which you can use for every lesson.

I know SAP PI/PO. Is this course for me?

Yes. Many concepts carry over from PI/PO, and the course shows where CPI works differently, such as Camel expressions, the exchange model, Groovy and more.

Are there any prerequisites?

No formal prerequisites. A basic understanding of system integration helps.

How long does the course take?

Most learners finish in about 5 to 6 months, learning 4 to 5 hours a week.

Is this live training?

No. It is self-paced video you can watch anytime. When you have a question, post it in the private community and I answer.

Is the content up to date?

Lessons were last added in September 2026, including the Aggregator and OAuth 2.0 chapters.

What happens after 12 months?

To keep your access from the second year, you pay just €99 a year instead of the full €399.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. You receive a certificate once you complete all chapters and lessons.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, in two payments. Enrol with the instalment plan.
